The Superior Electoral Court (TSE) presented, this Monday (4), to the communication vehicles the project to publicize the results of the vote counting of the October elections.
During the meeting, TSE technicians explained to information technology professionals from journalistic companies how the mechanisms for receiving and transmitting vote-counting data work.
The connection between the court system and radio and television stations, in addition to news agencies, will allow the population to have access, in real time, to the counting of votes that were allocated to candidates on the same day of the election. In general, with the electronic voting system, before midnight on polling day, the voter can know the candidates with the most votes.
The first round will be held on October 2, when voters go to the polls to elect the President of the Republic, governors, senators, federal, state and district deputies. In an eventual second round for the presidential race and the state governments, the vote will be on October 30th.
