In a decision of the TSE, cameras, camcorders, radio communication equipment or any instrument that could compromise the secrecy of the vote, “even if turned off”, are also prohibited.
On election day, the poll worker must ask the voter if they carry a cell phone or other device that can record or transmit the vote and retain such devices until the person leaves the voting booth.
If the voter refuses to answer or hand over the device, “they will not be authorized to vote and the polling station will record the details of what happened and will call the police force to take the necessary measures, without prejudice to communication to the judge or judge. election”, ruled the Electoral Court.
