The new broadcasts took place during a week of mobilization of young people promoted by the Electoral Justice on social networks, and which had the participation of several personalities, including national artists such as Anitta, Zeca Pagodinho, Whindersson Nunes, Juliette and also international ones, such as the actor Norte -American Mark Ruffalo.
According to information from the Electoral Justice, 6,800 posts were posted on Twitter on the subject during the mobilization, which also included the participation of several institutions, including football clubs such as Flamengo and Corinthians.
The mobilization took place at a time when the Electoral Justice registers the lowest level of participation of adolescents in the electoral process in the last 30 years. According to official statistics, until January of this year, the TSE had registered just over 730,000 bonds issued to young people aged between 15 and 17, whose vote is optional.
The lowest level of adolescent participation ever recorded occurred in the 2020 municipal elections, when the issuance of voter registration dropped dramatically for this age group and only 992,000 young people had the document on voting day. Four years earlier, in 2016, the number was 2.3 million.
In the last presidential election in 2018, 1.4 million young people between the ages of 15 and 17 held the title, the lowest level for general elections since 1992, when more than 3.2 million young people were eligible to vote.

During the mobilization week, the largest number of bonds issued for the first time went to the public aged 18 years old, an age group that is already covered by mandatory voting, with the issuance of 35,522 documents.
In the same period, 33,582 titles were also issued to 17-year-olds, 22,934 to 16-year-olds and 4,387 titles to 15-year-olds who turn 16 before the first round of voting. , on the 2nd of October.
The greatest demand was on the part of the female public, with 52,561 requests, while 43,864 sought to issue a voter registration card. The state with the highest number of emissions was São Paulo (18,186), followed by Minas Gerais (9,050) and Bahia (7,083).
