The launch of the new social network ‘TRUTH Social’, created by Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), a company owned by former US President Donald Trump, is scheduled for February 21.
The future platform is now available for pre-order in the Apple app store before it hits the market on Presidents’ Day, which is celebrated in February in the United States. Like Twitter, the application will offer functions to follow other users, as well as trends, while the message equivalent to a tweet will be called ‘truth’.
The launch of the application will take place just over a year after Twitter suspended Trump’s account “due to the risk of further incitement to violence” in the wake of tweets published by the then president after the violent incidents of June 6. January of last year, when his supporters stormed the Capitol.
