The president of the United States, Donald Trump, signed on Monday a decree to prohibit in the US army what he called the “transgender ideology.”
In a series of orders related to the army that Trump said he had signed aboard the Air Force One, he also requested the construction of an American version of the antimile system “iron dome” of Israel.
“To ensure that we have the most lethal combat force in the world, we will eliminate the transgender ideology of our Armed Forces,” Trump had said shortly before Republican congressmen in Miami.
In his order, Trump said that the Armed Forces “have been affected with a radical gender ideology to appease activists,” and that “many mental and physical conditions are incompatible with active duty.”
He added that “the adoption of an inconsistent gender identity with the sex of the individual clashes with the soldier’s commitment to an honorable, truthful and disciplined lifestyle, even in his personal life.”

“The statement of a man that she is a woman and her requirement that others honor this falsehood is inconsistent with the humility and self -denial of a military, the order indicates.
During the presidential campaign, the Republican promised to restrict the rights of transgender people in the United States and warned that he would end “from day first” to what he called the “transgender delirium.”
According to the Williams Institute of the University of California, approximately 1.6 million people over 13, including 300,000 adolescents, are identified as a transgender in the United States.
The US armed forces raised the prohibition for the incorporation of transgender people in 2016, under the government of Democrat Barack Obama.
The transgender number in the US military service is considered relatively low, with about 15,000 people between the two million members of the Armed Forces.

Approximately half of the states, mostly led by conservatives, prevent transgender women from competing in women’s school sports, another restriction that Trump wants to impose at the federal level.
On January 20, on the day of his investiture, Trump said that the United States would only recognize “two sexes, male and female” defined at birth.
“These sexes are not modifiable and are anchored in a fundamental and incontestable reality,” according to a decree published by the White House the same day.
Medical treatments for minors to change gender or access of transgender women to women’s sports competitions are hot issues in a very polarized United States.
On Monday, the president also assured that “he will avoid the indoctrination” of the American soldiers “for extreme left ideologies as the critical theory of the race.”
Conservatives use this concept of pejorative way to denounce the teaching of raising awareness.
The Republican also signed orders to serve military again who were relegated from the service for refusing to receive the Covid vaccine.
The United States Senate approved on Friday by a narrow margin the nomination of television commentator Pete Hegseth to be Secretary of Defense.
By formally assuming the position on Monday, he told journalists that his department will implement the presidential decisions “without delay and without exception.”
