The former President of the United States, Donald Trump will participate in a meeting of the Republican Party this weekend, that he will also gather his possible rivals for the White House, in his first speech since he officially announced his plan to run in the elections for the year 2024.
The former president was added at the last minute to the guest list for the annual meeting of the Jewish Republican Coalition that kicked off Friday in Las Vegas.
Trump, who will participate by videoconference on Saturday, joins a list of top party officials, some of whom could be his rivals for the nomination as presidential candidate and next owner of the White House.

Among the participants from the Republican party will be Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, former President Mike Pence and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
His announcement that he will run for the presidency came after the Republican Party posted a disappointing result in the midterm elections, when a “red wave” was expected at the pollsin relation to the color with which this formation is identified.
Ultimately, the Republican Party only managed to wrest the majority in the House of Representatives from the Democrats, by a slim margin, and failed to gain control of the Senate.

Trump, for his part, is preparing to be investigated, after Washington will announce the designated name of the prosecutor who will oversee the investigations, on the documents found at his home in Florida and the assault on the Capitol on January 6.
