Ali Khamenei, 86, has served as supreme leader of Iran since 1989, being the country’s highest political and religious authority, above the president. Donald Trump said the “intense, precision bombing” will continue uninterrupted “for as long as it takes to achieve our goal of peace throughout the Middle East and even the world.”
The president of the United States, Donald Trump, confirmed the death of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in the attack by the United States and Israel against the Islamic regime.
«Khamenei, one of the most evil people in history, is dead. “This is not only justice for the people of Iran, but for all great Americans, and for those people in many countries around the world who have been murdered or maimed by Khamenei and his band of bloodthirsty thugs,” Trump said on his social networks.
The US president stressed that the Iranian supreme leader “was unable to avoid our intelligence and our Highly Sophisticated Tracking Systems”, so along with Israel’s work “there was nothing that he, or the other leaders who have been assassinated along with him, could do.”
“This is the greatest opportunity for the Iranian people to take back their country,” Trump said, while highlighting that those officials, including military and security forces, who withdraw from the fight can receive immunity.
He also said that the “intense and precision bombing” will continue without interruption “for the week or as long as necessary to achieve our goal of peace throughout the Middle East and even the world.”
