He US President Donald Trumpdeclared this Tuesday that he could involve somehow to the leader of the Venezuelan opposition, Maria Corina Machado, in the transition from Venezuela.
The Republican president made this statement during a news conference on the occasion of first anniversary of his return to power and after the meeting that he held last week in the White House with Machadowho gave him the Nobel Peace Prize medal.
“An incredibly kind woman did something extraordinary a few days ago. Maybe we can get her involved somehow. I would love to be able to do it. Maria, maybe we can do it.”, stated.

Trump expressed himself in these terms after ensuring that he had previously Venezuela sent its “drug traffickers and prisoners” to the United Statesa situation that changed after the capture of Nicolás Maduro.
“I was against Venezuela, but now I love Venezuela”said Trump, who added that he has been “working very well” with the new government of the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguezformer vice president of Maduro and who assumed power after his overthrow.
The president explained that the oil companies are preparing to perform “massive investments” in Venezuelacountry that “It has more oil even than Saudi Arabia”.
