The president of the United States, Donald Trump, reported that the United States military forces attacked a second boat this Monday, September 15 where three alleged “Venezuelan drug traffments” who were in international waters were killed.
“This morning, under my orders, the US military forces made a second kinetic attack against drug trafficking and drug trafficking cartels, positively and extraordinarily violent, in the area of responsibility of the Southern Command,” He wrote on his social network.
According to Trump, the attack occurred while the “Venezuelan drug trafficking” transported illegal narcotics in international waters to the United States. He assured that the information about the nationality of the crew of the boat was confirmed, without specifying the details.
The American president pointed out in Truth Social that in the operation where they killed the three men, no member of the United States armed force was injured.
“These extremely violent drug trafficking cartels represent a threat to national security, foreign policy and the vital interests of the US,” he said on the social network and added that they are “hunting” all those who transport drugs.
Trump showed the video where the boat is observed for a few seconds sailing in the sea and, then, when it is shocked, exploited and sets on fire.
