US Presidents Donald Trump and Russia, Vladimir Putin, made a statement in the early evening of this Friday (15) in which They stated that they are looking for an agreement for the end of the war in Ukraine, but they did not detail what this understanding would be like.

Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin gathered in Alaska, with the aim of closing a ceasefire in Ukraine, but with a last-minute offering of Putin of a possible nuclear agreement also on the table.
The meeting of Russian and US leaders took place at an Air Force base. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was not invited to the meeting.
Putin said that an agreement between countries could lead to the end of the war in Ukraine.
“The agreement is the beginning for a solution in Ukraine and to return the rhythm and the way to our relationships,” said the Russian President.
