However, the lack of infrastructure, personal protective equipment and vehicles makes their work increasingly difficult and risky.

Great effort

However, institutions such as the Support Board for the Fire Company “Salvadora N°26” constantly make strenuous efforts to collaborate in a selfless manner with the men in red.

This time he did it through the “Trujillo Firefighters Annual Collection 2024″, the same one that took place between the months of July and August.

The objective was to raise funds for the purchase of personal protective equipment, as well as the acquisition and repair of machinery, materials, and tools that allow firefighters to carry out their commendable work more efficiently and safely.

Various public and private institutions have generously made donations. Hundreds of students from educational centers also walked the streets collecting money, and the effort was not in vain, as the goal that had been set was exceeded.

The gap is big

The fire chief thanked the ladies of the Board for their tireless dedication and effort during these 20 years of support.

However, he indicated that despite this great support, the gap is still large and the equipment and tools continue to deteriorate. There are also instruments that have already reached the end of their useful life and need to be replaced.

In this regard, he asked public and private institutions that have not yet joined this support to do so so that firefighters can access innovative emergency response equipment.
