Trujillo: dentist ran over criminals who assaulted him and is now detained (VIDEO)

A dentist was assaulted by two armed subjects last Friday. In their attempt to retrieve his belongings, he chased and ran over them. Now the victim remains detained at the San Andrés police station in Trujillo. His relatives demand his prompt release as they assure that he acted in self-defense.

According to Canal N, the dentist was intercepted by the armed subjects in front of a passage in the 4 block of Luciano Seneca street. After stripping him of his cell phone and money, they fled. The aggrieved-aboard his car-chased them and upon locating them, he interposed his unit so that they do not escape.

In the images disseminated by the aforementioned medium, the two seriously injured foreigners can be seen. One of them lies on the sidewalk, while another asked for help. However, the witnesses to the accident -with knowledge of the facts- threatened to lynch them.

The neighbors supported the dentist and denounced being continually assaulted by individuals on a motorcycle despite the fact that the sector’s police station is located two blocks away. “Normally in this area two individuals on a motorcycle stop robbing every night,” mentioned a neighbor.
