“We are proud to know that Colombians are betting on sustainable transportation, which improves air quality and allows us all to have a less polluted environment. Proof of this is that four months after the Government closed, we have 7,782 electric vehicles registered in the Runt, almost 1,200 more than the goal proposed for the four-year period in the National Development Plan, which was 6,600. It is an achievement that we achieved as a team from the Transportation Sector”, said the Minister of Transportation, Ángela María Orozco.

The 247 electric vehicles registered in the Runt during April correspond to 93 trucks, 80 vans, 27 automobiles, 20 buses, 16 quadricycles, 4 motorcars, 4 tricycles and 3 motorcycles.

(Vehicle sales grew 8.4% in April).

These 93 trucks represent almost a quarter of the 425 registered vehicles of this type, a subsector showing interesting growth.
