(11:38 am) The Governor of Cundinamarca, Jorge Emilio Rey, reported this Tuesday that basic agricultural products such as vegetables, fruits, bananas and carrots, among others, have not been able to enter the Bogotá supply center.

“There has been a 38% reduction in the number of vehicles entering the country and a 41% reduction in the number of tonnes of food. Stocks in warehouses are starting to run low; if this continues, prices for agricultural products will increase gradually.”Rey warned.

In light of this situation, he warned that it is urgent to restore normal conditions on the country’s roads, especially in Bogotá and Cundinamarca.

“What is needed is to unblock the roads with the support of the police. We demand prompt agreements or the restoration of normality!”he concluded.
