In the midst of the different attacks that took place in the southern zone just after the arrest of the CAM leader, Héctor Llaitul, truck drivers decided to paralyze their functions during the night as a security measure for the sector.
An important group of carriers decided to spend the night in the rest area located in the commune of Ercilla, region of La Araucanía, where they had the police guard.
