Truckers continue to vigil in front of Petropar

Tanker truck drivers from different emblems of the private sector from all over the country have been parked in front of Petropar since Monday, who were joined on the date by beachgoers and service station operators. They are waiting for the repeal of the state emblem subsidy law to be enacted by the executive branch.

Likewise, the group of workers from the private sector of different emblems also demand the promulgation of the law so as not to generate a new debt for Petropar such as the 300 million dollars with PDVSA that until now no government has paid.

The workers request equal conditions to work, the cessation of privileges, the repeal of subsidies and they cry out to stop the new debt that is generated in the country and that will only affect the Paraguayan people.

The unanimous request of the private sector to the Executive Power is the promulgation of the law that repeals the subsidy to Petropar and that equal conditions in the country be restored.
