The capital city woke up with vehicular chaos towards Panama East. Members of dump transport organizations maintain at the entrance of the Corridor and various points towards Tocumen.
Israel Herrera, representative of this group, explained that they are fighting for the freezing of fuel prices for all Panamanians and denounced non-compliance by the National Government with what was agreed some time ago.

He stressed that the dump truck union has not been contracted for the garbage collection service and other projects developed by the National Government and the private company.
He warned that they will not leave the streets until they get answers to their claims.
This measure of force caused vehicular congestion along the Tocumen highway. Drivers and workers complain about this closure that generates stress when trying to reach the destination and more fuel consumption.
Some pedestrians and tourists have chosen to walk. Others board the train to try to move forward.
It was learned that a group from the union will meet with representatives of the National Government.
