It should be remembered that this Thursday afternoon, the lifeless body of a truck driver was found in an underpass near the Antofagasta airport. Carabineros arrested two Venezuelan citizens aged 36 and 16, who were placed under detention control.
“According to preliminary information, a group of these carriers would have had a confrontation with a group of pedestrians who were circulating in the place, apparently it would be a group of migrants. In addition, he added that “according to witness statements, two foreign citizens would have had direct participation in this action.”
The presidential delegate of Antofagasta, Daniel Agusto, expressed that “we repudiate with all our strength these acts committed by criminals who killed this young truck driver. We value the rapid action of the Carabineros that made it possible to arrest these alleged perpetrators of this crime.”
