This was confirmed by Darío Toñánez, spokesman for the truckers, in conversation with the GEN channel of Nación Media.
After five days of protest, the truckers and platform drivers accepted the Government’s proposal submitted this Friday. It consists of a reduction of G. 560 of type III diesel and gasoline of 93 of the Petropar state emblem.

Toñánez explained that the reduction would be applied through the presentation of a parliamentary initiative. First, it must be studied both in the Senate and in the Deputies, so that the Executive can then promulgate it and enter into force no later than Tuesday.
Likewise, it was agreed to apply another considerable reduction in the month of October, without mentioning the specific amount.
The trucker leader indicated that with the acceptance of the proposal, the force measures initiated days ago will be lifted, but they will remain vigilant to what happens with the project that will be presented in Congress.
