In a fatal accident, two men on a motorcycle lost their lives this Tuesday, crushed by the tires of a dump truck. The incident occurred on the Bávaro-Macao highway.
The driver of the blue Mack truck, license plate S010199, whose details are unknown because he fled, leaving the truck abandoned, was going the wrong way, entering the intersection of the Guiri-Gui landfill.
This caused the two men on a motorcycle, identified as Álvaro Algeny Rodríguez Santana and Marcos Daniel Benítez Santos, to suffer a collision in which they were left under the twins in the truck.
The men, who were traveling on a white Loncin motorcycle, license plate K0677234, lost their lives instantly. The incident occurred at 4:20 p.m.
The General Directorate of Traffic Safety and Land Transportation (DIGESETT) urges the driver to turn himself in.
