This prediction is inclined towards the provinces of Hato Mayor, Monte Plata, San Pedro de Macoris, Sanchez Ramirez, La Vega, Monsignor Nouel, San Cristobal, Peravia, Azua, San Juan, Independence, Elias Pine and Dajabon.
Similarly, Indomet announced an area of showers and thunderstorms, associated with a tropical wave, located several hundred kilometers east of the Lesser Antilles arc, which currently has a 10% chance of developing into a tropical cyclone in the next 48 hours and a 20% chance in the next 7 days.

Meanwhile, regarding “Hurricane Debby, it is located about 75 kilometers northwest of Cedar Key, Florida. It has maximum sustained winds of 130 kph with higher gusts. It is moving north/northeast at about 17 kph. Due to its position and movement, Debby does not pose any danger to the Dominican Republic.”
