Santo Domingo.- A trough and a tropical wave will combine with the remnants of a frontal system to increase downpours starting this Thursday, the Dominican Institute of Meteorology reported this Wednesday (Indomet).
The organization explained that, due to this forecast, a “yellow alert” is maintained for Puerto Plata, María Trinidad Sánchez, Espaillat, Hato Mayor, El Seibo and Samaná.
Six other provinces, plus the National District, are on “green alert” because the level of rain will not be as significant, according to the report.
