Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet) reported this Saturday that during the morning hours, we will have the occurrence of moderate to heavy showers with thunderstorms and occasional gusts of wind, due to the humidity left behind by the passage of the tropical wave plus the incidence of the trough in the upper levels of the troposphere.
The rains will be felt more intensely in provinces such as Greater Santo Domingo, Monte Plata, San Cristobal, San Jose de Ocoa, Monsignor Noel, Hato Mayor, Sanchez Ramirez, La Vega, Samana, Maria Trinidad Sanchez, Espaillat, Puerto Plata, Dajabon, Monte Cristi, among others.
However, during the afternoon and evening, these precipitations are expected to begin to decrease, both in intensity and frequency.
