Trio will pay 30 years for human trafficking

The 1st Trial Court of Caracas issued a maximum sentence (30 years in prison) against Yu Huan Feng and Yanzhen Wu, of Asian origin, and Oriana José Brito Brito for their responsibility in the trafficking of seven people aged between 17 and 23 years old, reported the Public Ministry.

Such a situation was detected on November 19, 2017 at the Simón Bolívar International Airport, Maiquetía, La Guaira state.

That day, officials from the Bolivarian National Guard sighted the Asian couple and the other woman with the victims, who were preparing to travel to Beijing, China. Immediately, the officers asked them a series of questions in which they demonstrated a series of contradictions.

Next, they proceeded to carry out a body search and found on one of the condemned men’s phones photos of the victims and a conversation with a man who requested sexual services, transfers and images of passports, according to the Public Ministry’s account.
