Iguala, Gro., Parents of the 43 students of the Normal de Ayotzinapa, disappeared between September 26 and 27, 2014 in Iguala, Guerrero, demanded justice and punishment for those responsible for the murders of the young Julio César Ramírez Nava, Daniel Solís Gallardo and Julio César Mondragón Fontes, also committed on that date.

At a rally held yesterday, during which wreaths were placed on the stelae erected in memory of the three students who died at the hands of alleged municipal police officers and hitmen from the criminal group united warriorsthe presentation alive of the 43 normalistas was demanded.

The parents’ spokesman, Melitón Ortega, regretted that President Andrés Manuel López Obrador did not order the Mexican Army to report what happened on the night of September 26, and demanded that the arrest warrants be carried out for all those who allegedly participated in the disappearance of their children.

He assured that for the parents of the absent there will be no Christmas and New Year celebrations until our children are at the table; meanwhile, we will continue fighting.

This Tuesday marked 99 months (eight years and three months) since the 43 students from Ayotzinapa have been absent.
