The Public Ministry asked the 3rd Court of Táchira to prosecute Hernando Ardila Leal, Wilmer Hernando Ardila Ureña and Iván Ortiz Vargas, of Colombian nationality, for their alleged responsibility in the trafficking of 30 kilos of cocaine.
Such a cache was seized on October 21 of this year by officials of the Bolivarian National Police in the La Guajira sector; located in the Pedro María Ureña municipality of the Táchira state, reported the Public Ministry. That day, the officials saw the three men near a warehouse, who, upon being noticed by the commission, entered a nearby home at full speed.
Based on what happened, the commission located two witnesses and entered the property in question where Ardila Leal, Ardila Ureña and Vargas were; In addition to locating a box with 30 cocaine wrappers on a shelf, the net weight of which was 30 kilograms.
As a result of the discovery, the three men were arrested in flagrante delicto and handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office.
