The Tren del Llano cell led by Carlos Pirela, whose operations center is in Zaraza (Guárico), began a series of actions to reinforce its weapons park, according to investigations.
Pirela’s body was located last Tuesday on the rural road that leads to San Rafael de Laya, a Guariqueño town located on the border with Anzoátegui. The body had multiple bullet holes and a deformed head.
As a result of this discovery, the members of the Tren del Llano cell broke into several estates located in the surroundings of the Juan Manuel Cajigal (Onoto) municipality of Anzoátegui to steal firearms.
Residents of that rural area reported that approximately six subjects are the perpetrators of the act. They even have a kidnapped young man, a relative of the owner of a farm.
In some production units, they enter and tie up the personnel who are present so that they can carry out the theft of weapons and ammunition, according to witnesses.
