Tren del Llano installed cell in Barinas

The authorities have detected a new cell of the criminal organization Tren del Llano, located in the Salsipuedes sector, Arismendi municipality, Barinas, according to military sources. Since the beginning of March, the Bolivarian National Guard has been confronting that cell with a balance of five deaths and the seizure of an AR-15 rifle and 136 cartridges.

The last confrontation between that Tren del Llano cell and the military occurred two days ago in the Salsipuedes area of ​​the aforementioned Arismendi municipality. There, one of the members of the organization identified as Javier Navarro Francisco, alias El Picurito, dedicated to the crimes of extortion and collection of vaccine, was killed, according to records.
At the scene of the events, the military seized a .38 caliber revolver, with no visible serial mark, a Long rifle type firearm, Browning brand, and three .38 caliber cartridges, the report says.

In that same Barinese sector, three other members of the Tren del Llano were killed on March 11: Juan Evangelista Mejías Flores, Juan José Valdez Toledo and Ramón Alexander Valdez Maluenga. One of the criminals was injured and later died in a wooded area where he was abandoned.

The Tren del Llano has its headquarters in Altagracia de Orituco (Guárico), but it is in an expansion process, according to military and police investigations.

In another event, a member of the Aragua Train was killed in the San Vicente industrial zone, Maracay, according to military sources. Agents from the Urban Security Detachment 42 of the GNB acted in the procedure, who confronted an armed group.
During the scuffle, Pedro Pablo Barreto Medina, alias Pedro Patas Largas, was killed. At the site they seized a 380 mm Glock pistol, 10 9 mm cartridges, a grenade and a radio transmitter.
