Piura and Ica were shaken this morning by two earthquake tremors of regular magnitude without causing personal or material damage, reported the National Seismological Center of the Geophysical Institute of Peru (IGP).
The first shaking It happened in Piura. According to the IGP, the earthquake It occurred at 04:45 am and reached a magnitude of 4.5, with a depth of 37 kilometers.
The epicenter of telluric movement It was located 12 kilometers east of the town of Máncora, province of Talara. He added that the earthquake was felt with an intensity IV in Máncora.
The IGP also reported that the second shaking It occurred at 05:11 am and registered a magnitude of 4.9 in Icawith a depth of 20 km.
The epicenter of this earthquake was located 90 kilometers west of the town of Marcona, province of Nazca and region Ica.
