Tremor of 5.6 degrees shakes the north and center of the country

At 7:49 am a strong earthquake was recorded in the north and center of the country. The tremor had magnitude of 5.6 and the epicenter was in the municipality of Santa Rosa del Sur, in Bolívar.

However, users on social networks reported that it was felt strongly in Medellín, Bogotá and Sincelejo. The earthquake was of a depth of 52kmaccording to the report of the Colombian Geological Service.
