“In this context, the update of the Special Tax on Production and Services (IEPS) due to inflation applicable to said fuel, as of January 1, will not affect the strategy nor will it translate into increases in the final cost to the consumer,” the agency highlighted.
This week the increases in energy prices were published in the Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF).
The adjustment was calculated with an update factor of 1.0379, derived from the growth of the National Consumer Price Index (INPC) between November 2024 and November 2025.
In the publication it was established that the IEPS fee for gasoline less than 91 octane (regular) will be 6.7001 pesos.
Gasoline greater than or equal to 91 octane (premium) will have a fee of 5.6579 pesos while diesel is 7.3634 pesos.
