The most recent bulletin released by the Regional Electoral Court of São Paulo (TRE-SP) reports that 408 ballot boxes had to be replaced throughout the state due to failures. The number corresponds to 0.35% of the total of 115,510 ballot boxes that are being used today for second-round voting throughout the state of São Paulo.
Of the total number of urns that needed replacement, 274 were from the interior of the state.
earlier, the President of the Regional Electoral Court of São Paulo (TRE-SP), Paulo Galiziasaid that the second round elections in the state of São Paulo were going well, with shorter queues than those recorded in the first round.
“So far, everything is running within normality. The lines are much shorter [em relação ao primeiro turno] and the voting flow is much faster”, he said in an interview at TRE-SP headquarters.
