What countries can you visit without VISA in America?
The geographical proximity and regional agreements allow Colombians to move easily throughout much of the continent, even presenting only the citizenship card in some cases.
South America:
Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay.
Central America and the Caribbean:
Mexico, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica, Panama and Dominican Republic.
In several of these destinations, entry is allowed with a valid passport and without the need for a prior visa for short stays.
What should you keep in mind if you travel to Europe or other continents?
From 2015Colombians can enter the countries of the country without a visa. Schengen Area for a maximum period of 90 days. However, from last quarter of 2026it will be mandatory to process the permit ETIAS.

Documents that may be required when entering another country
Although it is not required visaimmigration authorities can request:
Valid passport: with minimum six months validity.
Exit ticket: proving your return or continuation of the trip.
Accommodation reservation: or letter of invitation.
Economic solvency: between 50 and 100 dollars or euros per day of stay.
Travel insurance: mandatory in Europe and recommended for any destination.
According to the European Unionthe system ETIAS It will begin to be required progressively and will apply to visa-exempt travelers, including Colombians, as part of the strengthening of the bloc’s border control.
