Rosa Elena Vera traveled yesterday, along with five members of her family, from the Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA) to Cancun. It was the second time that she used the new facilities; she did it at the suggestion of friends and relatives, and she says she will do it again.
“The truth is that since we arrived we had an incredible treatment, it is beautiful and we were very pleased and amazed. We visited the museums and shops, it was the first thing we did because the airport was recommended to us and when we arrived we made a tour”, He said before boarding the plane that would take them back home.
Rosa Elena’s family are part of the users who yesterday traveled on one of the 42 flights reported in the AIFA.
The terminal screens showed information on 22 takeoffs to destinations such as Monterrey, Acapulco, Oaxaca, Mexicali, Mérida, Puerto Escondido, Puerto Vallarta, Guadalajara, Tijuana and San José del Cabo. In addition, 20 flights arrived from the same destinations. Yesterday there were no international flights.
For Rosa Elena, the greatest advantage was the proximity to Pachuca, where she moved on her vacations. The traditional airport (Mexico City International Airport) was horribly far away for us, and it’s chaotic, it’s full of people and we didn’t want to travel there
.
Donovan Covarrubias reported that it was the first time he had traveled from the AIFA. He, along with his wife and children, flew to Los Cabos and decided to buy the tickets from this point because he found an offer with a total savings of 2 thousand pesos, compared to other fares. In the arrivals area, Hugo Hormigo returned from a trip to the Caribbean; he claimed to have saved 2 thousand pesos for each ticket.
Urge to improve access roads
Meanwhile, Miguel Llamas traveled with relatives to visit Mexico City. Originally from Manzanillo, yesterday they returned from the AIFA because they did not realize that the departure was scheduled from that airport. Upon arrival, he said that he was very nice, the truth, and very quiet
but pointed out that access roads should be improved and that there are more transportation options from the center of the country’s capital.
Mitzi and Luis arrived on a work trip, they also urged that there be cheaper and faster alternatives to move to the center of Mexico City.
In addition, in the museums and facilities there were visitors who just wanted to see the airport. Gualberto Guerrero, his mother, his wife and children decided to spend Sunday at the AIFA to meet him and also expressed their desire to travel soon from this airport.
I told my son that it is far away, but for some; You have to see where they come from. Some do like it better
he indicated at the exit of the exhibition alluding to the history of Felipe Ángeles, located next to the boarding area.
Alejandro Suárez arrived on a flight from Cancun; he preferred to travel to AIFA because it is much closer to his home in Pachuca. He assured that the staff is more attentive than in other airports and he prefers to use this terminal because the delays are less.
