Transporters confirm increase in fares on the Santa Cruz de la Sierra – Cotoca route

Public transport drivers covering the Santa Cruz de la Sierra – Cotoca route decided to maintain the fare increase that began last Thursday. The leaders justify the measure by the detour routes that they must use due to the closure, for 30 days, of the intersection between Virgen de Cotoca Avenue and Cuarto Anillo, due to the construction of the viaduct. They claim that this closure has caused significant delays in traffic in the area.

“We confirm that the fare from Monday to Sunday is 4 bolivianos by bus and 7 bolivianos by bus,” said Gregorio Gabirzopresident of the Andrés Ibáñez – Cotoca transport block.
