Transit authorities carry out verification operations at the Albrook Terminal

The units of the National Directorate of Transit Operations (DNOT) in coordination with the Transit and Land Transportation Authority (ATTT) and Operations of the Great National Transportation Terminal develop a verification and security device prior to carnival days.

Major Guillermo Guzmán, of the DNOT, indicated that it is an operation to verify that the drivers and public transport buses of all the routes in the Albrook Terminal comply with the safety regulations, thus guaranteeing a safe trip to the passengers.

In this inspection it was verified that the drivers have driver’s licenses, breathalyzer tests, that they do not have smooth tires and, in general, that the vehicles are in good condition.

For his part, Gustavo Granados, Chief of Operations of the Grand Transport Terminal, highlighted the coordinated work they maintain with the National Police and the ATTT, as part of the good service provided to users.

The ATTT explained that as of today and for the next few days, a dozen ATTT inspectors continue to carry out a strong operation at the Albrook Terminal facilities, checking that the carriers carry all the pertinent documentation in order and that the transport units transportation are in perfect condition.

The director in charge of the ATTT, Carlos Ordóñez, personally supervised the operation and in an interview with the media, stated that through Operation Alfa 2023, they will attend to actions that attest to safe mobility for transport users, drivers, passengers and pedestrians.
