The haina industrial zone will implement a new logistics and cargo training center, through an agreement with the National Institute of Professional Technical Training (Infotep) to trainr drivers in heavy vehicles and in logistics.

According to the president of the Association of Industry and Companies of Haina and the South Region (AIE Haina), Napoleon Rodriguezin the center there will be a training so that there is a better behavior of the drivers of heavy vehicles, inside and outside the industrial park.

Said it also includes handling of cranes inside the ports and even traffic reorganization.

“The land is already identified where it is going to be established, the funds, the agreement was signed with the cooperation of France. It should be up and running very soon,” he noted.

In addition, he explained, that as it is with an agreement with Infotep, there will be training of personnel for the industry.

IPHA

The executive of the association also referred to the Polytechnic Institute of Haina (IPHA), which, he affirmed, has graduated in 16 years of operation 63 thousand people in different areas.

He has also graduated 2,700 technical high school graduates.

AIE Haina executives highlighted that the young people who are trained at the polytechnic are among the best trained.
“There are also many who have been awarded. The IPHA assures them jobs”, they pointed out.

Haina industrial zone becomes the country’s first Industrial District

The industries installed within the haina industrial zone will be able to make sales between them without Taxes on the Transfer of Industrialized Goods and Services (Itbis), since the park became the first Industrial District of the countryso this will now have a greater importance in the national economy.

This was reported by the directors of the Association of Industries and Companies of Haina and the South Region (IEA Haina), when participating as guests in TODAY’s Economic Breakfast, where they added that having been classified as an Industrial District, under the Law 242-20 on Competitiveness and Industrial Innovation, the companies installed in the area will have more benefits from the Government.

According to the executive vice president of the AIE Haina, Dircia Paulinonow they can be constituted as unregulated industries and companies, which will give many benefits to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that have costs, for example, very important in electrical energy.
