In two unfortunate accidents, three people fatally died. Two victims who were on a motorcycle were run over by a garbage truck in front of the Pesquero terminal in Piura. While in ethe district of Tambogrande, A 23-year-old girl was hit by a motorcycle taxi.
One of the events occurred around 5 in the afternoon yesterday, when two people were traveling along Sánchez Cerro Avenue, near the Las Capullanas settlement, in Piura, and a garbage collection truck blocked their path, which which caused them to be run over by the heavy vehicle, dying instantly.
The deceased were identified as Susana Nizama Córdova, 43 years old, and Guillermo Sandoval Hernández, 50 years old. The Police managed to arrest the driver of the truck and together with the vehicle he was taken to the police station for the proceedings after the fatal accident that left two dead.

While in Tambogrande, a young woman identified as Yadira Eloisa Gonzales Crisanto, 23 years old, died after she was hit by a motorcycle taxi when she was walking along the berm near a highway in the town center of Locuto.
The tragic event occurred around 8 pm last Thursday, when Gonzales was walking with her partner on a berm, in front of the municipal coliseum on the road that connects Locuto with Tambogrande and was hit from behind by said vehicle.
On the other hand, around 9:30 pm on Thursday, a collision between a truck and a motorcycle van left six people injured on the Sechura to Rinconada Llicuar highway. In another incident, a driver was saved from dying after the motorcycle taxi he was driving fell into the Biaggio Arbulú irrigation canal, in the district of La Unión, in Piura.
