The authorities have been aware of each report and have gone to some places where the weather has caused road damage or some incidents.

One of the most recent incidents occurred in the via La Calera, where they were reported to have fallen two poles and a tree in the middle of the road, because of the heavy rains.

The incident occurred at kilometer 1, where the authorities immediately arrived to verify the status of the area and to be able to collect these objects that prevent traffic through the sector. The The road had to be closed so that the Bogota and Enel Firefighters could access the place.

The authorities recommend taking alternate routes, because in the place there is a large vehicular flow and restricted passage.

If you are driving towards Bogotá, it is possible to take the Via Santiamén and reach the Choachí – Bogotá highway.

On the other hand, if you are on an ascent, it is recommended to take the Circunvalar avenue to Bogotá – Choach roadi, there you can turn off at kilometer 11 to the Santiamén road and go to La Calera.
