PUERTO PLATA.- As the Christmas and New Year festivities approach, traffic accidents continue to increase in this province with numbers of deaths and injuries.
On the Luperón tourist highway, two motorcycles collided head-on just at the entrance to Tubagua, where the young man Jhonnelbis Moisés Rosa Ramírez, 17, died instantly and another young man was left in a very serious condition.
Likewise, in another motorcycle accident recorded on the main road of Sosúa, exactly at the entrance to the Los Charamicos sector, young Omar Cros was injured, who had to be taken to a private health center.
At the entrance to the La Ciénaga sector of the municipal district of Cabarete, two young people identified as “Juan Bosch” and “Clavo Dulce” who were traveling on one of the motorcycles were injured when they collided with a truck.
It was reported that another young man whose identity could not be obtained was injured when the motorcycle he was driving collided with a gray Hyundai Sonata car in front of Puerto Chiquito de Sosúa.
