With the purchases of toys for children, the days of maximum sales of the business of the year culminate, sales that according to the merchants have not been so bad and could reach, or perhaps exceed what was sold last year.
Although they still cannot speak exactly of the percentage sold this December and January, for Three Kings Day, vendors assured that since the Government the delivery of the double salary began in the first week of last month, the trade was reactivated, as is tradition.

For many vendors of the shops on the avenue Duarte, Villa Consuelos and shopping malls in the last month of last year a large proportion of their merchandise has been sold, due to the flow of buyers visiting their stores, despite the fact that the population has complained that the situation is difficult.

“Since December begins, without a doubt, trade is reactivated, because there is a little more movement of money on the street, so one prepares for those days that are the biggest sales of the year,” Cesar Perez explained.
The Duarte Avenue peddler said that in 2021 his sales were good, when compared to the previous year, so he believes, trusting in the flow of buyers that there has been this December, that he could exceed them.

“I have invested a lot this December, because we were no longer, apparently the same as two years ago, with the Covid, which affected trade a lot and more to us peddlers. I hope that when I take out the account I will have been able to have some profit, ”he said.
He regretted that the products are not so affordable for the population, after confirming that for December there was an increase in merchandise.
“Imagine, we have invested in merchandise at a higher price than last year, so we have to raise the final price a bit more. But despite that, people come and buy, thank God,” said the merchant.
While some buyers said they made efforts to buy, especially for the Christmas Eve celebration.
There were many products that were not cheap. The Government It gave bonus, but it wasn’t for everyone. He also put the stalls unexpectedbut not all of us could go to those positions”, said Mercedes Amparo.
He pointed out that he hopes that this year things will continue to improve, especially the price of food, since, he assured, the salary readjustment that was made no longer represents anything, due to the cost of living.

Trade continued to be more active yesterday than on Thursday, due to toy sales. Many parents accompanied their children to buy their favorite Kings gifts.
Store like the World of Toys, since mid-morning, it was full of people buying gifts.
“I came to buy today (yesterday) because that is when I have had time. I couldn’t on Thursday. I came today and I came with my children, so they can choose”, said María Polanco.
