A tourist who visited the snowy Huaytapallana, ended up losing his life due to the cold, after he became separated and lost from the group with which he arrived at this place, in Huancayo.

It was some visitors who gave the alert of the disappearance of the man, who has not yet been identified. Rescue agents from the Huancayo Emergency Squad began the search, managing to locate the body of the unfortunate, however the weather conditions prevented it from being removed immediately.
