The end of the year is approaching and in turn the arrival of summer and the long-awaited vacations for workers who are not from the tourism sector, where the latter will make a difference in their assets as a result of the consumption of travelers. It is within this framework that the Closing Meeting of the 2022 Tourist Year was held, where in addition to a balance of the year, goals and projections were set for the season 2023.
This meeting on the season 2023which had 200 guests including executive directors of companies from sightseeing and officials from the same sector mentioned, such as the national Minister of Tourism and Sports, Matías Lammens, was held at the By Pass bowling alley and was organized by the Argentine Chamber of Tourism (CAT).
For his part, the president of the CAT, Gustavo Hani, predicted about the season 2023 that “it will be the year of the sightseeing in the country, all records are going to be broken”. Regarding the balance of 2022, Hani said that “we are ending this 2022 with a positive balance for our industry, and this is the result of all the effort and drive we put into together, each one contributing from their place to push this unstoppable engine that is Argentine tourism”.
Among those present were the Minister of Tourism and Sports of Río Negro, Martha Vélez; the Secretary of Tourism Promotion, Yanina Martínez; the Executive Secretary of Inprotur, Ricardo Sosa; the president of the CFT, Sebastián Giobellina; the president of Aerolíneas Argentinas, Pablo Ceriani; and the Secretary of Tourism of San Carlos de Bariloche, Gastón Burlon.
Córdoba launched its 2023 season
Córdoba Capital inaugurated its 2023 summer season under the slogan “Córdoba Capital, everything to enjoy”, with the presence of the Cordovan Secretary of Government and Cabinet, Miguel Siciliano, the director of Tourism and Promotion of the city, Pancho Marchiaro, the Director of Promotion, Marketing and Tourist Products, Alejandro Lasta and businessmen from the tourism sector.
Marchiaro stated that “in Córdoba there is everything to enjoy. After a long time, we have a season launch that promises this new normality. To say again that we are launching the city’s tourist season is a huge achievement”.
