In that framework, The Minister of Tourism of the province, José María Arrúa, expressed that work has been carried out in an “articulated manner with the different actors, both from the public and private sectors, understanding tourism as an economic activity and generator of employment”..

Meanwhile, the numbers of the movements specified that more than 105,000 arrivals were reached, more than 322,000 overnight stays and an average stay of 5.2 nights. Regarding this last figure, the official added that “prolonged stays were detected, exceeding 7 nights in some cases. This allows us to talk about the province also as a holiday destination”.
