Tourism entrepreneur Fernando Hazoury, from Cap Cana, referred to the challenges that the sector presents tourism upon arriving at the swearing-in of President Luis Abinader at the National Theater.
Growth in rooms, real estate, health, culture and new parks are some of the points he highlighted.
“The challenges facing the sector are not only growing in rooms from a hotel perspective, but also real estate tourism, which is very beneficial for the country, since these are tourists who stay,” he said when asked by the media.

He added that amusement parks are also growing and this helps to broaden the tourism base.
Other areas such as health, environment and culture are points for exploiting tourism and attracting visitors, Hazoury concluded.
