The Minister of Tourism, Tabaré Viera, referred this Friday at a press conference to the changes in the entry protocols in the country, after this Friday it was confirmed that the government authorized the entry of Uruguayans and foreign residents to Uruguay with coronavirus in private vehicles. Viera did not specify how this possible permit would complement the current protocols for entering the country. Except for the exception for Uruguayans and positive resident foreigners decreed by the government this Friday, to enter the country you must have the complete vaccination scheme against the coronavirus (two doses) and a negative PCR test, in addition to an affidavit.
