The national deputy for the province of Buenos Aires Victoria Tolosa Paz (Frente de Todos) said that the withdrawal of PRO legislators from the premises while President Alberto Fernández delivered his message to the Legislative Assembly “was coordinated like synchronized swimming.”
“It was an unprecedented session in Parliament, never did a block of deputies withdraw ‘in a pack’ in the middle of a speech”affirmed the deputy, who considered that the decision to leave the premises was not spontaneous and “was very similar to what they did with the treatment of the 2022 Budget.”
Meanwhile, Tolosa Paz highlighted the sector of radicalism that remained in the room: “It understands the context and assumes the responsibility of seeking a way out of indebtedness,” he said.
On Tuesday, the withdrawal from the premises of the deputies and senators of the PRO before the mention of President Alberto Fernández about the need for progress in the judicial investigation into the origin of the debt with the IMF generated internal differences in the opposition coalition and opened a question about the scenario that will arise during the legislative year that begins.
The representatives of the PRO complied with what they had announced during the days prior to the session: that they would withdraw from the Legislative Assembly if the President alluded to the criminal complaint about the loan taken during the Government of Mauricio Macri.
In statements to radio 10, the legislator also referred to the debt with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and, in this sense, advocated knowing the form and manner in which the indebtedness was taken and who is involved in the “flight “of that money.

As he recalled, “it is the case that Judge María Eugenia Capuchetti is leading in Federal Criminal and Correctional Court No. 5”, and recalled that “on April 8, 2021, in decree 239, the President instructed Carlos Zannini to be a plaintiff in the case against Macri, Caputo and Sandleris”.
“Sturzenegger and Dujovne, who were the main people responsible for the debt with the IMF, but in addition to allowing capital flight and this is precisely what is being investigated, if there is a relationship between those who benefited from that flight and the officials who took that debt,” he explained.
