The Minister of Social Development, Victoria Tolosa Paz, said today that “no one can arrogate the power to veto” a presidential candidate for the upcoming elections and assured that at the political table of the Frente de Todos (FdT), held on Last Thursday, it was possible to agree on “everyone’s will to sustain unity” in view of the upcoming elections.
“After 40 years of democracy, no one can arrogate the power to veto whoever sits with representation to go looking for a presidential candidacy,” Tolosa Paz said in statements to Radio 10.
In this sense, the minister maintained that, at the political table, it was possible to agree on “a document that reflects the will of all to maintain unity in the face of the elections.”

He added that when the social leader Juan Grabois announced that he wanted to be president, “nobody said that it was not convenient or that he had three ideas.”

Obviously, it is not so bad if several ministers want to be pre-candidates,” he stressed.
For the minister, “there is still a long way to go but that does not allow me not to see the successes of Alberto Fernández and Axel Kicillof in the province.”

“It is the government that I defend, that of Alberto and (the vice president) Cristina (Fernández de Kirchner). His role in the Senate has been fundamental due to the laws that we have advanced.
