The presidential candidate and former president Martín Torrijos met with health professionals from the provinces of Herrera and Los Santos.
During the meeting, health professionals expressed their concern about the lack of supplies and equipment at the Anita Moreno hospital. In addition, they express the need to implement science, research and technical capacities to provide a better service.
“We are talking with Panamanians outside of political parties, with medical professionals like today, so that we can depoliticize the health system, without dualities, that is humane,” said Martín Torrijos.
Torrijos expressed the need to listen to Panamanians who hope that things will improve and in that hope we must insert ourselves with the capacity, will and human resources that understand the moment the country is experiencing and how we need to create these new opportunities to improve the quality of life of Panamanians.
Former President Torrijos also met with the leadership of the Popular Party and producers from the provinces of Herrera and Los Santos.
