The torrential rain that fell on Saturday night in various parts of La Paz left streets flooded in the Virgen de Las Nieves de Alto Irpavi Urbanization, in the south of the city of La Paz.
Photographs and videos published by neighbors show that a vehicle was trapped in the middle of the water. Only property damage is reported.
The water entered some homes, causing damage to part of the infrastructure and belongings of the neighbors, who ask the authorities for help.
Rescue teams have arrived at the scene and activated an operation to help the affected families.
“The sector of Calle 20, streets 1 and 2, has already been flooded, the people of the Mayor’s Office and Epsas are already there to take action. There are houses totally affected,” said a neighbor.
It is known that this problem is recurrent despite the fact that interventions were carried out.
